ThePirateBay shut down?

The Pirate Bay has been shut down by Swedish authorities. This just brings down my day. My day started out shitty, and this news just makes things worse.

Of course, it could all be a hoax. If you recall, the Pirate Bay did this a few months ago when they were doing an upgrade, so could this just be another cruel joke on their part? I hope so.

Ubuntu 6.06 is comming...

...and I'm thrilled. Finally, my broken Linux install can get fixed. I messed it up a few months ago while doing a dist-upgrade to try to get Xgl to work, but it fucked things up and Linux hasn't been able to boot ever since. Hopefully when I upgrade to 6.06, all problems will be fixed.

Take that, Internet Explorer users!

If you use Internet Explorer to view this blog, you probably noticed the message at the top telling you to download Firefox. Do it. I'm not taking that down. Ever. Hell, I could make this site look even more fucked up in IE if I so desired.
